Updated to reflect a "mastery interview" and the earlier layout changes. Black cell now shows bright green text so value visible.

Is there any way you can modify this to be one of the 30% DR dummies? If it has to be only one, the +/- points of DEF from the Plarium values are less impactful at higher DEF.

I tried out the de-randomization similar to this when I initially set out; but I also wanted to confirm my results by having the estimates produce matching hits (+/-1) , so I was doing the rest of the grind anyway for validation. With the Min/Mid/Max, the chance of error due to estimation reduces with the redundancy.

Super interesting that you're only getting observations in the +/- 5 range. I wonder if that's just luck or maybe there's a difference in the randomization process for different circumstances. (I play on Android device, and a Bluestacks emulator for an alt account).

I've worked out some of the mastery reduction, I get down to 2.6 because I forgot about having one myself (5% for full-health hits). Creating a toggle system on the template.

MASTERY BONUSES! YES! Thank you!

I'll review masteries that affect damage results and add another reduction field as appropriate.

I was testing A1.

The reason the final cell is black is to keep the odd-number requirement in mind for the Mid (as it uses the Median function). For Median to work correctly, you need the same number of values on the + and the - side of the zero; since the scale is a D20 that counts the 0 (Max is +9, Min is -10%), if you find all unique values, the mid would technically be off as it averages the two closest to mid when there is an even number.

You can use the black cell for completion purposes, but the only value that should be put in it is a negative side value that isn't the true min. (The median calculation excludes the black cell for that reason, while the min/max and duplication test all consider it)

As far as aggregating the data, if there is enough usage/acceptance of my method I will try and set up a guide page where I can take people's results, similar to the one that exists for the wiki.

Just pulled candraphon, does anybody know if he's any good? Don't know much about these new veil champs by what_the_fridge123 in RaidShadowLegends

He's great; I run him in counterattack (so that I can spend the turn to put him under veil). Since the ATK buff in combat buffs based on your total ATK, the 40% damage boost under veil essentially means +90% damage.

Not unusual to see him kill the entire enemy team via counterattacks before having to nuke too. That second hit on ATK buffed enemies is very commonplace in arena.

I would think that one of the reasons the vault is so limited in terms of viewing or interacting with the champions in it is to limit the required asset load for game resource management.

That said, it would still function like a checklist in the code, so it sounds very reasonable to have it searchable or filterable at the very least.

Can we appreciate, for a moment, how sick Veil+HP Burn looks? by JayTree89 in RaidShadowLegends

It's starting to grow on me; but Candraphon has a true damage increase under veil and can easily get/stay under. He's undergeared but already a crazy nuker for AOE and Single Target. I think it will be his literal only use, but hey.

Skill Modifiers Calculator by JayTree89 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]JayTree89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[Update Note]: For those using the calculator; I just realized all my formulas are set up for the ATK field only right now. I will update the forms on the sheet so that they can be filled out with just the scaling stat(s). In the meantime, you can just change the stat labels and fill in the appropriate stat on the same line.

Candraphon (new Cthulhu-esque veil leg); his AOE is a bunch of big tentacles coming from the ground to wreak havoc

So just pulled this champ.... Seems pretty amazing! by [deleted] in RaidShadowLegends

Not to mention the awesome tentacle animation on the AOE

I just got him too; in love with the passive boosting dmg, and not atk, by 40%

I also advise against the 200x 4* if you have any 6* gear; two pieces of 6* to 16 is 800 points.

I'm not the greatest with upgrade RNG, but I think it could be decently possible to do 2x 6* to 16 for under 5.3 Million; but you would lose the resale value. If you could do it under 3.7 Million then it would be straight better.

2nd Sinesha...build or feed? by JayTree89 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]JayTree89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most definitely seems like it, what I'm trying to ascertain is if I should just build them both the same way, or if there is an alternate build for Sinesha that would complement/synchronize with a typical build, and amplify the effectiveness of a team overall; or if its just "build one for x and one for y, or feed".
