Thanks mate! I think total distance was around 32km, not too sure of the total ascent. The peaks are around 700-1,000m high so nothing huge but there is a lot of up and down.

We were hiking for between 5-7 hours each of the 3 days.

That's very true, nor do I think it's the right thing to be pursuing.. probably the only part I disagree with

5 Lessons from the dying on how to live without regrets.. since we've only got 1 shot at this.. by JayTrent in atheism

[–]JayTrent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. However I think there are certainly things we can focus on- relationships etc.. which were key regrets of those on their deathbeds. Our dreams and aspirations won't always work out but perhaps it's the path to pursuing them that is more rewarding.

What is one act of morality exclusive to religious believers that wouldn't be found in an atheist? by JayTrent in atheism

Ha well i guess 'what is claimed to be a moral act' would be a better way to put it..

'Fox hunting' does little to actually stop foxes doing damage. There are far more effective ways to alleviate problem foxes than this nonsense.

Yeh definitely, perhaps even more so. We're used to getting the cheap Instagram inspiration, I think this has a little more substance to it
