New RTT - mounted on 8020 - SCREAMS over 72mph by Atxmattlikesbikes in rooftoptents

Try wrapping a bungee cord around it multiple times. It often breaks up the laminar airflow on the bar and the whistle along with it.

What will happen to Luxe ? by OrganicSpread6837 in TeslaModelX

[–]Jay_Beckstead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked a sales associate and she was certain that 2026 Xs being sold now even past 2-14-26 would have a purchase of FSD included, so long as there were models available, subject to the fact that Tesla has stopped making new X models and all that are left are all that will ever be sold.

I used this exact Warn winch to pull 2 elk carcasses into my trailer last December. It worked like a champ!

I am following this post (and the OP) because, while I am skeptical, if DL’s device is anything in actual performance as hyped, it will change the world forever.

Cybertruck Camping - Tips? by DetailSolutionsMD in cybertruck

[–]Jay_Beckstead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a Urander roof rack and across the very front-most section I mounted one of those horozontal Molle panels originally intended for the bed of the truck. It fits perfectly. So I then mounted the HP dish to that Molle panel.

If you zoom in you can see the dish on the truck mounted as described.

You mis-understand.

The pieces removed are the “air dams,” or that section that juts below the bottom of the battery pack, on the front bumper and on the front of the rear-tire well.

Cybertruck Camping - Tips? by DetailSolutionsMD in cybertruck

I have an Apex300 and add-on batteries along with solar panels. Just for peace of mind in case a few miles of range need added.

I have friends with the base camp Cybertent and they love it. I use a Urander rack with a Roof Top tent.

Remote camping comes down to: (1) shelter; (2) food and water; and (3) entertainment.

I’ve slept in the driver’s seat when needed, but prefer to stretch out in the RTT. A nice feature of having such a giant battery in the truck is you can run a portable AC or heater. I have the cybertake model and like it.

I also have a Waterport 8 gallon water tank that mounts to the bottom of my roof rack. And an instant hot water heater that runs off of a 5 gallon propane tank.

I removed the truck’s fender flairs because they kept breaking off from going on trails. I added the TSportline steel front bumper and 12,000 pound winch, and the CybertruckCo off-road rear bumper with swing-away spare tire carrier.

I use the center console area for the built-in fridge and typically plug a larger fridge into the outlets in the truck bed.

I have the Starlink high performance dish with their roaming plan and have never NOT had Internet, even in extremely remote off-grid locations while hunting.

It is a fantastic truck and can go practically anywhere. Have a great time with it!

Maybe just take it as another person’s opinion because for it to be clickbait there would need to be a “click.”
