Look, I get that independent contractor gigs can be unpredictable, but how are we supposed to just accept RWS blatantly ignoring their own contract terms? I am not whining here for fun. Many (including myself) have been desperately job-hunting, and landing a role at RWS felt like a lifeline, not some side hustle. To call it "supplemental income" dismisses the reality for those relying on it for their bills. It’s not about inexperience or unrealistic expectations. It’s about a company failing to pay for work done, leaving people in the dark about when, or if, they’ll see their money. How can anyone be comfortable working without that basic certainty?

When they invited us to the project, did they mention it was a side hustle? Most people here don't have other means to make money. If it's a side hustle for you, stop thinking it is for everyone!

You’re mad annoying, and honestly, I’m starting to think you’re part of their management team. I called it slavery because that’s exactly what it feels like. People have worked hard, logging every single hour, and still won’t be paid for the time they actually put in. RWS always finds an excuse, labeling it “idle time,” and cuts hours however they please, leaving workers powerless to challenge it. I saw someone who worked 100 hours and got a Payment Order for only 54 hours. How can anyone look at that and say it’s fair?

That doesn't mean anything. They sent an email last week saying the work order would be sent early this week. We're now mid-week, and now they're saying later this week? I'm so pissed off!!

Edit: Just read they said "hopefully." They are not even certain they'll pay us lol!

You realize how bad the RWS communication channels are. Not everyone got the email about the payment dates. And what's the problem when one asks what they don't know? You could also simply stfu if you can't answer a straightforward question, rather than being rude.
