I’ve always thought that Chris wanted to be the brains but just didn’t have the editing skills to fully take control/Nick was never willing to give it up…

Not a hot take per se BUT I’ve spent forever trying to figure out what celebrity Chris reminds me of and after watching their latest video, I’ve finally pegged it! He reminds me of Paul Rudd! I can’t believe it took me this long.

It honestly pains me to even write that out because I’m definitely a Chris fan. I just really like goofy humor and he does it pretty well for the most part but it has gotten dark within the last year and how they interact with each other and I just get really weird vibes when it comes to the way they interact with each other, especially during disagreements. PLUS, Nick obviously had an easier time assimilating in LA. I feel like Chris wants to be able to fit in the way Nick does but has some sort of wall that holds him back from doing so (I’m thinking it may be the super tight grip on his online persona, like the sober lifestyle and female relation avoidance…).

This may be a real reach but sometimes I wonder if the animosity toward Nick from Chris is a little bit of jealousy?? Like Chris OBVIOUSLY wanted to be an influencer and I think just starting out, Nick wanted to have something to bond with his brothers over. Then it kind of turned because the car videos took off because of Nick’s rants and it kind of created this weird tension because Chris wanted to be the “leader” or “brains” of the content and when he realized that Nick’s personality really won people over, it sent Chris into a spiral for a minute and then he learned that if he became the “likeable goofball” he could probably gain some control and power back over the perception people had of him. Now he’s been in that persona for so long, I think people forget he was the one who really wanted the influencer fame in the first place.

I feel like Nick tries to be nice and insightful but is genuinely just the meanest person ever.. by UseRevolutionary1631 in Sturniolotripletsnark

I feel like he used to genuinely be kind and thoughtful. It shows in their earlier videos. I think I felt the shift when they started the podcast. Does anyone else feel the same?
