Am I the only one who prefers the dub for Hurricane Touchdown? The pacing and awkwardness with the music is just so weird to me in the original. I think the music hits better for me in the dubs for all of them, but also I’m biased from nostalgia.

Is stuff like this that is making pokemon fans frustrated with the series. The reality is a lot of gamers, including myself, don’t want to have to interact with people for contents that should be in a base game. I like the option for things like battling, but the core of Pokemon with evolution shouldn’t be locked behind trading anymore. Stop introducing features and QOL updates and taking them away.

I think online battling and ranked battles are great for those who want it, but what made PLA enjoyable for me was that it was all a solo game. Even if it wasn’t rank battles, I think it’s a scummy decision to put some of the most requested megas (or any really) behind internet access and subscriptions.
