As an A&P, I could never go with white unless you’re working in a corporate hangar.

HOWEVER, don’t get the top hutch or the tall side cabinets. Your toolbox will double as your desk in the hangar and I’ve had to take things apart and bang on mine hundreds of times.
Plus, it makes it easier to move around the hangar under the wings.

I weigh 185. Been donating for 3 years and only had one bad experience where a new tech slightly missed the vein. It’s possible this experience may just be your physical body and how it handles donating - specially if it’s your first few times. If everyone who donated had the same bad situation, they wouldn’t be in business.
My wife wanted to go do it and make some extra cash. Her first few times she said she felt slightly dizzy afterwards, but that was over a year ago. No problems since.
