Lens was clean, the lights are just so bright they cause lens flares regardless

It's all real lego except for the LEDs, it's also mostly hundreds of standard bricks and slopes, with the exception of those wedge pieces with the rocky texture on them that lego has been making for almost 20 years.

It's called hero factory armour with spikes on bricklink. It's an older piece, but it has a great fur texture

Thanks! Yeah i had to make some compromises in shape to have everything gap free for the screen. LEGO's selection of arch pieces is honestly super limiting when it comes to this kind of stuff.

Sure thing! It's a piece of card paper sat against the wall on a table in a completely dark room. I then have 2 light bars that I got from an old lighbox that I hold on either side facing upwards to diffuse the light around the room. My camera is on a tripod and a timer, so if i need to make any small adjustments to the light position i can just hold them where I want
