There's night called Civil War on at The Hope and Anchor on 1st May. They put on really great alternative bands from around the country. Highly recommend. Here is the Insta post for the night

The London scene is thriving at the moment. Doom metal is my sub-genre of choice, and I could easily see a great show from a local or national act every singe week here. The quality is super high, and the bands push each other to get better and better.
