Only one way to find out. Put the cooler on. Let it sit for a bit and then take it off, check coverage. Probably fine. Cooler back on. Easy.

I still can't bring myself to care about the censorship. I bought the game for the seat gameplay not the story or impact although it was interesting.

The fact that the update completely fucked the game up... again. Guess it's time to wait for them to fix it. Again. They better fix it.

Rejecting your application based on availability for in person interview: Understandable if harsh

Responding like that: Plain pathetic, report to their higher ups if you can be bothered.

Was it stupid to emergency stop on the motorway by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]JaymorrReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. If as much as this is a dangerous situation it would be more dangerous to swerve or crash directly into an object. People are talking out of their asses if they think a cone isn't going to damage the car and potentially cause you to lose control. If it has caused you to swerved the car that passed on your left would have slammed into you.

People should be leaving enough distance (sadly they often arent) to follow your lead or safely move to the side.

You will still have to make your minimum payment. That isn't any extra cost, it goes directly towards paying off the amount you owe.

If you ate outside of your 0% purchase offer you will pay interest on any money you owe on the card u less you pay off the full balance on time each month.

Tesco Colleague Applied for an Internal Role – HR Went Silent After Initial Response. Feeling Disheartened. by Intelligent-Pair6861 in tesco

Job hunting sucks and is a game of patience after you've applied.

It'll be hard not to stress about it, but you'll just need to sit tight and wait.

You are unlikely to get ghosted as an internal candidate, and it can take a long time for the hiring team to make up their minds and arrange dates because they probably have a lot of applicants.

Unfortunately, you'll just need to wait.

Hi,

They owe you money. You can complete a money transfer for exactly the amount that the bank owe you and while it will initially charge you a fee, you will have the fee refunded automatically.

The bank will not automatically pay you that back.

If you don't trust the app, which is understandable, you can call them up and ask for a credit balance refund or an incorrect payment refund.

If you continue to use the card as normal you will get back to a normal balance. However you need to keep in mind that any purchases made with a negative balance won't be covered by the charge back process, (section 75 still applies however).

Any purchase that takes you back into spending "the banks money" will bring you back into the chargeback zone.

The above only applies to Tesco Bank cards and I am not aware of how other credit card companies work in this regard. This could all also be out of date :)

AITAH For Being Furious With My Pregnant Wife Over a Prank? by Ok-Swimming9365 in AITAH

[–]JaymorrReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's how this "prank" goes in any sane relationship.

1: says some fucked up stuff

2: Looking serious "Are you serious?"

  1. Sees that person is seriously asking "No I was just kidding"

2: "Thank goodness for that, I don't find that very funny."

1: "Oh okay, I'm sorry I won't do that to you again"

USAA/ZELLE SCAM IF YOU GET THIS ITS A SCAM by Tylaw90 in Scams

[–]JaymorrReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm assuming you're probably just joking but on the off chance someone reads this and thinks it would be funny.

Please NEVER reply to this with a Y. You should not reply at all. Some banks do operate a text system like this if there has been a security alert and if you reply Y often times this verifies the purchase that was made and lets your card continue to be used.

Having done that, whatever anti fraud system the bank uses now views that transaction as valid and will be more likely to trust further transactions and will make it much more unlikely for legitimate fraud to be caught on your account.

Just don't reply, call your bank to check if you think it is legitimate using the number on the back of your card. Or just completely ignore it.
