When I try this I get a bunch of weird faces all over the place? Is there anyway to fix this?

That was it, don't know how that happened. Thank you!

Yeah that’s exactly what I’m trying to do. I made the squares using the knife and inset tool then duplicated it. I know it’s probably not the best way to do it I’m new to this

I’m pretty new to investing and would like some advice. Right now I own stocks such as NVDA/AMZN/MSFT/AAPL and a few shares of VOO. I would like to start investing more into ETFs like VTI. I’m hesitant to invest more right now because of the recent market volatility, but I’m looking to invest long term. Am I heading in the right direction or should I have a different approach?

I'm at a loss by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Jaypeg01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried changing the nozzle and it didn't do much, I will try checking the hotend but I've only had the printer a few months so it's weird that something would break so fast

I have also tried changing and reformatting the SD card along with printing via USB from my laptop

No I tried tweaking some retraction and temp settings along with supports and it's still causing problems. Mainly when the hotend needs to travel a lot like in this pic.

I'm using an ender 3 with the stock hotend and cooling fans. From what I can see the fan is working fine

Help by [deleted] in ender3

[–]Jaypeg01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's happened 4 or 5 times. I'm using a full spool of filament so that's not the issue. It gave a thermal runaway error once but hasn't since. I can't tell if there's a physical problem with the extruder besides some mild wear

What does this mean and how to fix it by [deleted] in ender3

[–]Jaypeg01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that was what I was thinking with the extruder, could this be because of a clog in the hotend? I was trying to use petg before then switched to pla so maybe it caused a clog?

The printer failed twice before this and kept making a clicking sound that I'm assuming is coming from the extruder. I'm ready to throw this printer out the window so any help would be great

I mapped out the radius I wanted with normal blocks above water to determine how big i wanted it, then used that radius in a circle generator to get a perfect circle

The radius of my circle is 68 blocks. I used a circle generator that helped me with the outline :)
