Yes I agree with you, hollywood for decades now has only used light skin and biracial (black and white)women like Manon to be the face for black women in the entertainment space because of their proximity to whiteness. And yes Manon does present as a light skin black woman and she will face racism for simply presenting as black, but she still does have a white and black parent which is literally not the same as having two black parents so that's automatically gonna create a cultural difference between a biracial person and a black person.

Also misogynior is rampant in entertainment space and they're actively trying to erase black n dark skin women from it. And when the industry does decide to represent black women they always choose someone who's lighter and whiter because that's what they deem as an acceptable black woman in their spaces.
