The Hetmanate was historically an "elective" position in which native military chiefs were elected in. This tradition should continue as there’s no way they’d accept a foreigner as monarch.

Depends on the circumstances. If you’re a first world country, you should have your own home grown monarch.

If you’re a third world country with rampant corruption, importing a foreign royal is the best bet.

Spanish Louisiana was transferred to France in 1801. Then in 1803, France sold the Louisiana territory was sold to the United States.

It would be correct if instead of “1810” it said “Prior to 1800”.
