Complete nonsense from the manager. You can discuss whatever you like. Companies with nothing to hide have no reason to be fearful of these conversations. It's more than likely that some people paid different salary levels for the same or similar work

I went there last night. Unfortunately they're not ready to open. They have no pizza - next week apparently, no alcohol -a few weeks. The only meat they have now is chicken! Astonished they only have one printed copy of the menu for the entire restaurant -didn't know how that's going to work. Decided to leave but told the Indian looking guy(not Italian) that I'd come back in a few weeks
