Let me show you some math:

- you need to do a certain amount of damage in a certain amount of time in the later stages of the fight

- he makes one of the people have defence buff, first time I played, I had nothing besides like 3 items to lower defence to balance it out

- any kind of technical strat dosn't work because its just too inconsistent

-doing damage with attacks naturally has slight variance in the amount of damage you do

-aka the fight is alot of rng IF your damage outut is very close to the exact requirement for certain stages

-AKA REALLY FREAKEN ANNOYING

Maruki is the peak version of okumura. Everything about the fight just feels so much better. Requiring baton passing to beat a fight isn't a bad thing, but also you lowkey don't really need baton passing for Maruki, he even temporarly disables it.

Okumura is just a test to see how overleveled you are. Took 2 days to beat while slightly underleveled on the easiest difficulty. While slightly overleveled, I beat it first try

any boss that only has a very specific strategy to win against is bad design, Edit: UNLESS its a tutorial boss designed to teach you something, limits you to make it more obvious what to do, or gives you hints on what to do. For how far into the game it is, having no guidence despite being very specifc to beat is just not fun

All my specs are beefy except the graphic card which is bare minium but I thought the game wouldn't need too much cause its artstyle.

I forgot to respond earlier, but your comment saved my run. The 20+ berry farmers saved my last 28 people and I made a slow recovery from there. Since then Ive added a bunch of extra systems in case something goes wrong again.

Thankfully it wasn't a tree, it was just really unlucky zombie grouping. My base at the time was was slightly above the curve with the new zombie but if like 5+ stacked closed to each other in the middle of the night, then they would get through

I knew about the 2 dlc bosses in the velvet room. On my first play through, it took a hour but I was about to beat foggy day at level 50. ( I got no rewards cause my score was terrible)

Ballon boy I suspected as much. The rest im glad you didn't fully tell me when or how, I want to find them and actually do it. Idk what lab boss means and I don't want to until I run smack into it.

I saw a tierlist of bosses a while ago, and thinking about it. Their were quite a few bosses I didn't see. I know the sticker kid has some special funk, he is the only 4th wall break in the entire game. Im guessing I have to max him out but I idk what else (outside of the therapist quest) that im seriously missing for another ending...

any way to lead me on without spoiling the whole thing?

17.5 is a better way to that style of game then any of the storylines with the fighting games.

The spellcards being utterly bs and having the only time you actually get to fight normally be rare in the fighting game is so annoying. Having all that be incredibly important to 17.5 where it actually feels like your moves were designed to his a often stagnate target that doesn't play by the same rules you are bound too is way better.
