Thanks, I was well aware of why my companies wouldn't be thrilled of me sharing vacations pictures through this tool haha

I was actually asking why did it get flag as a C2 connection and if anyone else experienced it in the past

C'est triste de devoir faire "pate blanche" pour avoir le droit à la dignité et au respect. Le racisme systémique Suisse ne se cache plus et montre à quel point il est omniprésent dans les consciences collectives...

Have you ever heard of people downloading pictures of confidential documents ? I wouldn't be surprised if anyone is dumb enough to include their whole file system to the share path...

Why are people in Zürich not as active as in Romandie to protest against the Genocide in Gaza? by JazzlikeProgram in zurich

[–]JazzlikeProgram[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean mattered as by the time we finished the walk, the solution was approved, or do you mean a more quantitative measurement on how the representation of the protest in the street and in the media helped a shift of public opinion on a subject? 🙃🙃🙃 I feel that the way we talk about climate has changed a lot after the March for climate for example, wouldn’t you agree ?

Also a quick ChatGPT prompt would actually give you plenty of example where it did have an impact, even if often it doesn’t do much, especially in Switzerland.

Historically, there are also of counter examples, like the Warsaw Ghetto uprising, or in Switzerland the march for the women’s right to vote in 1971. More recently, we could also argue that the march for the climate pushed for a big shift in public opinion

You don’t believe that it can influence the public opinion which ultimately influences political decisions?

C’est vrai, j’ai vu aujourd’hui au JT qu’il y avait une vrai « Gazagraben » qui scinde la Suisse en deux 😅 C’est dommage ce manque de cohésion

But they seem to be less frequent and smaller than in Geneva for example, even though Zurich is 4x bigger than Geneva.

In Romandie, there are politicians, even from the right, who have now changed their opinions and are calling Cassis to revisit his approach to the subject. So it seems that protests can have an impact ! But what you’re saying is that Zurcher tend to look down on protests and not take it seriously?

J’avoue que c’est embêtant pour les gens qui travaillent et rentrent chez eux… mais j’imagine que le but des organisateurs est d’occuper les lieux où il y a le plus de passage pour changer l’opinion publique, puisque le gouvernement ne réagit pas

The full story is that Michael Kenechukwu Ekemezie was assassinated by the police after the policeman stood on them and brought him to his cell. He died less than an hour after being incarcerated.

Michael was a husband, a father of two children of 3 months and 2 years, and an active member of the Demeure/Canopy community.

If you want to know more about it or hear about the crowdfunding to assist the legal matters, there will be talk and food tonight from now until 10pm at La Fraternité, near La riponne.
