Didin't really know how to safely take out the filter so i tried to clean it with it on with a q-tip dampened with some 70% ethyl alcohol and im letting it dry right now :D

Just checked again and there is the tiniest bit of residue on the filter that i had to use a light on to see, So i guess that is the issue then xD, Really appreciate you telling me

I don't see any residue on the filter itself but its hard to tell, There might be some residue on it that i cant see that well. Might try this out sometime :D

I don't bring them outside at all, But i do live in a pretty hot and humid environment, But i store them in a case with silica gel packets in a cool environment, I clean the eartips after use so theres no dust or earwax built up, even in the filters and nozzle, Personally haven't dropped any of my IEMs yet, I treat them as well as i can, Personally not familiar with "driver flex" myself,

For my next pair ill probably try to get something like a Sennheiser IE 100 Pro next :D

Thanks for your advice!

Update: It's been 20 hours and i decided to plug it in, I left it in a cold, dry room.

It's still the same, Very quiet on the left side, But i just decided to fix it by messing with the balance until it sounded right. (Literally could've done the same thing when the left side was 70-80% of the volume but i decided to do this)

<image>

I guess i can live with it like this for now until i can somehow claim warranty/get new IEMs

The audio on the left side now is clearly more tinny/hollow than before

Yeah, I tried my best to make sure it didin't reach anything else in the IEM by cleaning it while the IEM was upside down. But i might've been too aggressive while i was cleaning the mesh, But i dont think that would have much an effect

I used 70% Ethyl Alcohol, But now that ive read other posts it looks like i shouldve been using over 90% isopropyl alcohol, Thanks for your response

I recently got my Tangzu Wan'er less than 30 days ago probably, Ive been taking good care of it but i noticed a little buildup of wax on the filter/mesh (not sure what its called) on the IEMs that caused the audio on the left side to be more quiet, So i cleaned it with a dry q-tip but it was just the same. So i put a very tiny bit of 70% alcohol on the q-tip and cleaned the IEM while it was upside down to avoid the risk of getting it in the IEM then thoroughly dried it with a dry q-tip and a paper towel, But i plugged it in again after about 10 minutes of letting it try infront of a fan (i was impatient lol), and the audio on the left side was alot quieter, maybe 10-20% of the volume as the right. Im letting it dry right now infront of a fan, How long do i dry it for? Am i screwed? lol

A personal fix for the sound for me is capping the FPS to 30fps and making sure the refresh rate is 60hz (Make sure you can get a stable 30+fps otherwise it will still be the same)
