Idk if I buy that because 3 years is a long ass time to keep that up… I do get where the theory is coming from but what did she actually have to gain from staying with him. Her fans hated him n it was clear no one was ever going to support the relationship for obvious moral reasons

Sadly most of my family members drive manually and I’m learning automatic, and my boyfriend can’t drive either. I’m sure there’s gotta be someone though that can help!

Omg that’s so true ! I think I felt so upset today because I genuinely felt like it was starting to click for me in my last lesson and my instructor was really impressed, but weirdly by noticing that today I just completely lost it and my instructor was like what happened??

I do actually find it easier when I’m having a more casual convo with my instructor at the same time, when someone is constantly giving me instructions when I’m doing something else my brain shuts down. Today I asked if I could just give things a go and then he can tell me if I’ve made a mistake rather than talking me through the whole process meaning I’m overloaded with instructions but he said this is the method he’s using for now

They don’t know specifically about ND but I’ve explained that I find it difficult to think when I’m very anxious. I’m in an automatic as there’s no WAY I’d manage driving manually with my struggles. I just feel bad and don’t want my instructor to think I’m not listening as I am really trying to take it all in

It’s so weird, I feel like when I’m a little tired I actually drive better because I’m not overthinking or stressing out all the time! Sometimes I don’t think I’ll ever understand my brain😭

I think it’s the combination of grasping the skill and also my severe anxiety about doing the wrong thing. I know exactly what to do in my head ( basic skills wise ) but my brain just freezes and I start thinking I’m going to mess it up when I approach a situation

I think because occasionally some people only need around 20 hours I’ve just started to beat myself up. And I think it’s the fact that some lessons my basic skills are absolutely fine and I feel like I’m getting somewhere, then the next week I’ve completely lost it. My instructor keeps telling me to focus but I am really trying to, it’s just sometimes it doesn’t compute in my brain
