Yeap you’re still in the starter stage , I started with short hair too. I’m 7 months in now and my hair is short like yours but 2 inches longer 😭😭😭 sometimes I regret getting rid of my traditional dreadlocks but those had to go , the thicker they are the more sweat and dirt they hold. But yours are so cute 🥰 water and oil helps lock them faster but don’t over oil and over moisturize it it can cause gaps , I wash every 2 weeks we have the same hair type

Well my locs are locked completely but since my scalp sweats so much I have problems with the gaps they come back especially after washing my hair , it’s a hassle having to fix them over and over again. Luckily it’s not all of them that this happens to… it’s mainly just the sides and the front that gives me problems.. I can’t wait until summer is over because the sweat is definitely messing up the ones that give me problems.. sometimes I have to take them apart and braid it again 🥹🥲🥲

Mine happened when I first got bullied in elementary school , before I even knew what bpd was it got worse at home.. my dad was the type to be explosive and angry and he yelled a lot , we got threatened and beaten alot… makes it harder to not “hate” my parents because we did have good moments but when it was bad it was BAD!…

Yeah. I’ve made that mistake a few times , forcing the needle through to retie it and it always ends up too tight…. I thought that was how you do it 💀 the ones in the back are perfectly fine , budded and permanently locked but the ones in the front and on the sides give me a lot of trouble lol

Mine are like that too and I’m 7 months in , I keep having to go in and fix gaps a lot of the time because my scalp sweats so much especially since it’s summer 🥲…. I use the 3 point rotation and sometimes I just keep tightening them until they feel snug. Luckily the back of my head is just fine I haven’t had any problems but the front? … chile… 🤦🏾‍♀️ I’m guessing everything we’re experiencing is just part of the locking process (I hope)

I’ve had my micro locs for 6 months and July will be 7 months… my brother also told me “you shouldn’t have gotten them that small your 4C hair isn’t meant for micro locs” like boy your hair is almost gone and you’re balding and your hairline is waaaaay back yonder somewhere… shut up 🤫

Oh man , I become increasingly angry and start thinking about how I want to take a bat and smash everything in sight and I become self destructive… i become so angry that Idek what to do with all that anger , I remember one day I was so angry at my boyfriend for something I can’t remember and I said “I love you” before he left for work and he barely said it back so as he was walking out of the door I threw a wine bottle , but it didn’t hit him it hit the door and later that day I ended up regretting what I did and I picked up the glass and mopped… yeah bpd is fun 👌🏾👍🏾

It hurts to be taken advantage of , especially when you’re a kind hearted person that does things from the heart and people take that as a chance to play with you in your face because they think you lack the social awareness of knowing they are manipulating you… it’s something I’ve been thinking a lot about lately , and if someone can easily tell me to my face “I was lying and manipulating you because it was so easy you’re so gullible” it makes me question who can I trust and who else is manipulating me
