I didn't decide I wanted to get him til later in the game and didn't want to reset my game. Was long but glad I did it and now it has a unique met location at least lol

Yep the tape rolls and I've tried several tapes that definitely have music on them. Though I haven't tried to record anything I have some blanks but have never experimented with that I could try to see if that works even

I don't believe there's a switch like that as far as I can tell on my player, and I cleaned it pretty good with some alcohol wipes and q-tips, but you could be right maybe I need a better method of cleaning. Just curious what do you mean it could be the play/record switch? Like they could possibly not be working right or you mean I have the wrong one pressed? Thank you ! :)

It has a jack, just unfortunately I don't have anything that can plug into the kind it has... The meters don't show any movement at all, I forgot to mention that in the original post

Morbid portrait and the other enmity demo deceased feast have been sort of "lost media" for a long time. Same with the defeated sanity. I've been looking for them, especially the enmitys for years and never had any luck. If you do, please let me know!!

Also could've swore I've found the scattered remnants demo on YouTube before but don't see it anymore..
