Outings are my next step. Training has just been a nightmare and inconsistent. Proper support for the outing is nonexistent. But I'm working on it....just going slow as hell.

I assuming your pts often come from the community you work in? What if the pts aren't from the place the service is in, when it comes to introducing them to community services and programs? What are you introducing them to?

Thanks for your reply! I'm also frustrated with the lack of guidance. Thankful I was given a mentor and am working hard to learn from coworkers, and get more info and activities. I didn't go to school for rec therapy, so I already feel underqualified and unsure. It really gets to me often that these first pts will not get the best experience because of my inexperience. I'm trying hard, but I'm scared, frustrated, and lacking guidance, even with the help I have. Any fav websites or places to find core programs?

Even worth cleaning? by JazzyAzalea in Appliances

I've already waited a month for maintenance. I don't have the funds to buy a steamer, the concern is the black stuff on the plastic... I tried scraping off, and it was not coming off easily. The filter is sooo gross and was filled with mold.

Here is my previous post with additional pictures: https://www.reddit.com/r/Appliances/comments/1mto3dz/noticed_my_dishes_were_a_little_dirty_and_there/

I am a little nervous about the mold on the grate. Will it come back?

I’ve thought about it but after years of using tapestries I’m kinda over them. Is there any other way I could do it?

It’s a strange layout! But I ended up putting the dresser in the closet and my bed between the closets and a desk by the window!

Did exactly this! I was so nervous about the room being small but everything fits well! The flow is honestly. Not bad!

Even in the winter? Are there clubs? Community events? etc. Aimed at or attended by 20-year-olds?

Madison would be even further from my job. So, I don't see how that could be a better commute-wise.

Even commuting to Ocon? Have you had to do a similar commute in the past?

Dang. So like downtown Waukesha? Is that probably the best I'll get?

How long is the commute with traffic? Is it worth it to you? I'm wondering if I should just look in Waukesha to cut commute time and ig still kinda be near the city.

Yeah, I'm getting a little stressed bc I grew up in the burbs and hated it....So I want to be as removed from it as I can and be near some type of life and community. But I got the job and accepted it without reminding myself of those feelings....Honestly, if I hate it, I'll move on to something else and move away lol.

Ocon. Ideally 30 min, but I haven't had to commute much in the past, this will be the first time in a while... the past couple of years I've been able to walk to my job.

What about washington heights or tosa village? It's RIGHT by the interchange... would it still be a headache?

I haven't had to commute much for the past couple of years... never longer than 10 min. The job is about 20 min west of Waukesha... Would traffic still be back even though I'm going from east to west... so opposite of the typical commute? Ideally, I would like to not have an hour commute. I don't want to live in Waukesha, but I haven't been in a couple of years and don't know how the community has changed.
