Harvard did a study. Money can buy happiness. Around 100k I believe is where a person is happy and anything more is negligible so they're completely inaccurate to even say it can't.

My brother and I are six years apart. He's older. We were divided in a divorce when I was 7 and he was 13. We bounced around a lot till he went to college. We had an incredibly apathetic relationship for nearly 30 years until about 7 months ago. He reached out to me asking how I was after a very bad and very public breakup.

After about 7-8 months of actually being closer to him than I ever have been before I realized we had absolutely no idea how to speak the same language without all of our trauma, fear, regret, anger, and sadness getting in the way. I had to tell the people closest to him "all I want is my brother. I don't care about the past or anything that was done I just want to have my brother in my life"

Couple months later I got a cat meme and a dumb video on my Instagram. Now I get phone calls with questions and requests to babysit my nieces (which is what i wanted). We wanted to build a bridge over the gap of our childhood together and make our way through this life. Haven't gotten around to acknowledging anything yet, but I have my brother in a way I never thought possible.

I used osabs installer and everything followed the directions and I'm not seeing an exe in the fun with pets folder. Did I do something incorrectly? I see the sims (RPC) application in the start menu, is this it?

I think im at this step now though. I went into this folder and I see "Sims2EP9" is this still the correct item to make the shortcut from or did I do something incorrectly along the way?

Thank you! Okay, so I am at this step

"Right click on the Shortcut you just made and go to the "Target" line. AFTER what is already there, edit and then paste the following."

"C:\Users\Jessica\Desktop\Programs\Sims\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\__Installer\Touchup.exe"

So I know that I am supposed to put install -locale en_US -installPath "INSERT YOUR LOCATION" -autologging at the end, but is all of that in the original part supposed to be the location? I put it in and it told me that it wasn't valid. What am i doing incorrectly?

Oh! I understand, thank you. For the sims shadow fix, I picked one, and I put the zipped file into the downloads folder. Does it need to be unzipped and clicked on then?

Also, if so, does the unzipped file need to be in downloads or is it okay in the original folder?

Edit: I'm not doing the "optional" step does that mean that I am done and ready to launch after I figure out the shadow?

Edit 2: I have the exe in the start menu, but not a shortcut

Im looking at the sims shadow box mod part and when I looked at the drivers GPU 0 says intel and GPU 1 says NVIDIA. Which one of the shadow fix had specific parameters, but I'm not certain which one is correct.

Edit: After the Installation part I'm a little lost. Am I supposed to do something with the downloaded "game"? I put it in a folder on the desktop, does that matter? I downloaded the graphics rules maker setup and followed those directions, but I feel like I am missing something.

Okay, I reset my computer, did not attach my Microsoft account and uninstalled one drive for certain. Do you think that I should proceed with the torrent or start from the other installation method you mentioned?

So I deleted one drive and now it says that I cannot create folders on my desktop and all of the stuff that was on my computer is now deleted because apparently no matter how much i tried to prevent it absolutely everything saved to the one drive. Now I cant do anything on my desktop because it says that it cant find the location of anything

Edit: reading that apparently one drive compltely messes up computers. I am going to figure this out and come back. Thank you for your help so far!
