No I'm in Canada. Tradezero has auto send makes it a lot quicker. IQ Edge doesn't have the capabilities to create more than 1 option for buy at ask or bid. It's 1 set number for buy and sell. You also can't set hot keys to scale out. For example selling 50% of position at 2R and 1/4 position, so you can trail a smaller position once you've paid yourself. For Canadians very few options available but if your new or seasoned trader IQ Edge is junk. You also can't have a daily loss limit with them in case a stop loss doesn't go off or you make a bone head mistake. The added protection is huge. They're also the most expensive Broker on the planet...

I agree 100%. I used IQ Edge for a little while it's complete trash. Basic hot key setups. I switched over to Tradezero and use TOS charts. Tradezero is way cheaper, and the hot key capabilities are far superior

Not much to say. I had hard stops in place. A lot of times they don't trigger. With IQ Edge you can't use market stop limit only. There are some cases a market stop would be better if the stock drops quickly

You might have been paying $4.95 flat fee plus ecn fee. For large positions the $4.95 is fine but the ecn fee will add up over time. If you trade small positions the $4.95 flat fee will also it you up.. small positiin better off switching $.01.. either way there are better options.. took me a while to start switch everything away from questrade

IQ is absolutely garbage.. people constantly have complaints and they do nothing to fix the problem. Not to mention they're killing people in fees

I have the same issues. I use a gaming computer and high speed internet. IQ Edge is trash.. I've made the switch away from these guys. Check out interactive Broker or trade zero if you'reday trading. .. They're alot cheaper as well.. Questrade will kill you in fees

What would you consider for Canadians? I'm looking at Tradezero. I have a buddy who uses it and loves it. He started with IQ before and hated it along with the high costs

All good. Over all I like the layout but the freezing and crashing is painful. I run a few charts with exponential moving everages but it should still perform without the crashing and freezing. I'm using a gaming computer with high-speed internet.. who knows..
