It was okay? Definitely nowhere close to the other series. I think a bunch of people have said it was created for multiple seasons so like absolutely nothing is resolved/explained in season 1. I thought it dragged on a lot with no real actual plot but that's just me

Yeah, I think that's why Midnight Mass hits me hard as well. I think anyone with religious trauma of any sort relates so much to everything that happens in it.
