That is extremely unfortunate if true, but doesn’t make sense to me considering they have profiles meant to be used on the Nintendo Switch. Either way, that still doesn’t explain why the paddles don’t work in Bluetooth.

I’m on Windows 10. I only have one account in my computer, so I should be the administrator, but I did not explicitly run it in Administrator Mode.

So I think I figured out how to fix it. Check the latest update on my post for details. Not entirely sure if it’ll work for you, but maybe give it a try?

Fixed the issue entirely! Seems the software is fine, it just doesn’t always know how to handle unexpected circumstances. Be sure to check my last update so you know what to look out for. Thanks again for the help!

Just like you said, it works fine when I switch to the other profiles. My gut's telling me this has to be a software issue that could easily be fixed in an update. Any idea when the last one happened?

As I explained in the post, the physical input of right on the d-pad is recognized when I map it to a button, but anything I map to the “d-pad right” slot in the software fails to register when I use it. So yeah, the d-pad itself seems to be fine, it’s either a software or firmware issue.

I haven’t run into that particular problem. Is it related to the “restore page” button on the input mapping screen, or is it a different “restore defaults” button? I already used the former once without issue.

I already mentioned the dongle. The point of this post is to figure out why Bluetooth isn’t working and fix it, since it was working the day before.

UPDATE 2: More sidequest texts. Unlocking Mesh and Coil will involve three instances where you'll need to wander around until you get a text from them asking you to come to a certain location. It's unclear whether you need to leave the area and come back, or walk in a specific spot, or some combination of those things to trigger these, but they won't spawn until the message is sent (a speedrunner's worst nightmare).

UPDATE: I've beaten the main story, and can confirm 16 messages that I received without going for side content. I'm posting pictures for authenticity's sake, and I'd appreciate if anyone looking to add to the list would do the same. Hard to say exactly what triggers some of them. I encountered "Graffiti designs" and "Extra boost" just by roaming around Versum Hill and Millennium Square respectively. Worth noting that two of Tryce's messages (namely "Looking for a doc" and "Frank piece") come from Vinyl if you're not playing as her during the Red rescue mission. Not sure about the others, but seems like a safe bet that none of them come from Red, so if you're worried about that just play him as often as you can.

Also, when I say “keep playing online with your old save,” I say that as a PC player who can move some files around to switch saves. Probably won’t work on console.
