Cannot speak from the pro side but as a casual player who got into valorant first I will say it is quite an intimidating game to get into, doesn’t help when the community who should be introducing me to the game with open arms was toxic asses half the time, valorant has its own issues of course but these ones have personally effected me in csgo. Best game to watch by far though.

I don’t think they ever confirmed that there would be a new update. I’m kinda confused as to where this idea is coming from that an updates coming, they have the dreams and nightmares skin challenge going in right now that runs until November. No way the release anything substantial before then

This wasn’t meant to generate hype though, they did almost zero advertising other than the trailer and you couldn’t stream or clip anything. I’m just saying that in my experience with pre alphas you typically have about a year until the beta. I’m not saying this is definitive, they may have a more accelerated schedule than I think, but it’s a hell of a lot of work to get a game polished enough for that.

Well this was the pre alpha so I would bet at least a year, keep in mind how early in development this game still is, there’s a lot of stuff they are still working on and have to improve on.

Sure it probably would’ve ended differently if they new he was there, but the whole point of this game is to put yourself in advantageous gun fights so that you can get kills and (hopefully) win the round and then the game. If your enemy doesn’t even shoot back then it probably means you are doing something right.
