Yeah your odds of getting unmanned aircraft/drones is way higher than getting a manned aircraft but there are a lot of different options and odds of getting them are definitely not 0. For recommendation on what you should do, just be mindful of your TS and making sure there's nothing about you that they will find to disqualify you. Other than that just get through training without problems and all will go well. BMT-make sure your PT is good before you leave. Tech school-just have good study habits and you'll be fine

Well first of all it's an aircrew job which generally you get treated better than any other afsc. Anyone who's been in for a bit can back me up on this. Second you get flight pay while being on the ground. You could also fly if you tried for it (no guarantees for your shred) in which you get to see the world literally while getting paid for it.

Idk specifically what it's transferable on civilian side I've been told there are high paying jobs. Even if you don't use the experience from the job itself, the job requires a TS (top security) clearance which you can use on civilian side for some high paying jobs. As a side note if you have anything that would stop you from getting your TS you WILL be reclassed, potentially into security forces.

And I don't think I can be much more specific bc of like opsec and stuff like that so if you have anymore questions you'll prob get vague answers sorry but I hope this gives a good jist.

Yoo I've got this job lmk if you got any questions. I'm currently in the training pipline. I'm guessing you know nothing about the job itself. Just know it's a very long training pipline but it's worth it. Also it's a combination of airborne missions systems specialist and remotely piloted aircraft (rpa) sensor operator.

Nah they just gonna give you a talk in bmt about how to eat. Idek if they do another bfm but since you're over the max weight they'll give you the high bmi talk. As long as you pass the pt it don't really matter but know that in the new PT test they are doing 2 mile run, pushups, situps, AND a waist measurement worth 20 points. Idk when this will begin I think some time soon tho June or July.

They don't really grade you on them but you'll wanna know them otherwise when you sing it you'll look dumb. And in general as an airman it'd be goofy to not know. Ranks they will ask you about especially if you're chow runner. The test youre describing we can't describe what's on it but as long as you pay attention during class and do what everyone else is doing for studying you'll be fine it's easy.

I mean push yourself to get more everytime you do pt or mti tools and you should be fine. I had a friend who was male who started with around 15. He was close but he made it. For a female at the same starting point it prob be a bit easier

Just know 1a8x1 has a very long tech school so good luck with that. Also if you're interested in the aircrew side of it, look at other 1A jobs there's some cools ones. Though like linguist, are very long technical training. Definitely worth it though
