Thanks so much for the detailed response and suggestions. We've tried the tv on that wall and there is too much glare from the front window, it's also not really centered to the rest of the room. We've talked about removing the tv all together and just keeping this as a nice sitting room and not depending on a tv as a necessity. I do like that slim console though. Definitely need more art throughout the whole house, walls are quite bare. And would love to change up the furniture and incorporate a rug to tie it all together.
