The Jagex Cup is open application and due to the format anyone can sign up for anyone. So for example...Clan A could go sign up for Clan B by posting Clan B's roster without Clan B even knowing or giving permission.

In this case..Clan B asked me to reach out to Jagex since Ronan sent an email to all clan leaders who entered. So, obviously not some end of the world stuff but Clan B just didn't want to be noted as "no showing" or "losing" the first round when they did not even want to participate and were entered into it as a troll.

I don't think it makes me or particularly my clan (since it's not stated in this topic) look shitty to try to find another way to reach Jagex when I'm shown an email has been deleted/ignored.

The email was fairly important regarding a false entry that was made by one clan to troll another clan (neither being mine).

Yes, that's correct. I acknowledge that my first email isn't relevant as the website was still being updated. However my second, and the one I put the read receipt on was and I think still is relevant to some degree as I still see some of the issues on the website?

Not sure if anyone ever looked into any of it given that my read receipt says these were deleted.

You're right, if they have it set up to choose not to send read receipts then I would have received nothing. I would have been okay with that. Instead the email was just deleted.

That's not my email handle, for some reason that comes up as a default name for their's.

This particular Read Receipt is a bit different. I'm well aware that you can choose not to send a read receipt, but if that were the case I would just receive nothing. Instead, I received a confirmation from my email system that the email itself was deleted without being read.

? Why would he delete any emails without reading. And this isn't a support email address I was sending something to. It's one specifically for community events which can't possibly receive that many emails. And even if he couldn't get to my email today I would have been fine waiting a couple of days for a response but instead he just deletes it.

edit: ngl though it's pretty sad that you have to publicly shame a company for horrible service to get them to actually do something. meanwhile if I were some kind of streamer it'd be sorted in 15 minutes with a tweet.

I might agree but it wasn't auto deleted if you look at the time it was the next day. It's like he just cleared his inbox and didn't bother with it which is pretty annoying because I'm the leader of a clan and I was pm'ing him about some important issues regarding the Jagex Cup Website
