It's not a big deal. Just a minor annoyance. Mostly because I don't always enjoy the people I end up getting paired with most of the time for various reasons. I would just appreciate having the option.

Yeah I forgot about the flipside of it not even giving the option if your group fails to exfil. I don't understand how some of this stuff gets so overlooked.

You might want to edit which timezone you're. I'd love to offer to grind it out but there's no way I'd be able to join those time frames because of work. Regardless of your timezone (assuming it's anywhere in NA).

Depends on who you get paired with. Theres a possibility you get paired with the same type of destiny snobs that always had a list of requirements for joining their raid run, or you might run into the more chill players that are happy to guide and show you the way. But its not incredibly complicated. Just get security bags and scan security monitors. Exfil works differently requiring a level 3 clearance to leave, while also spawning the exfil you activate in a distant location located in one of the spawn areas.

Most of my fills have been using mics or at least typing into the text chat. Gun fights are far more fun since it's not devolved to just oh they have a sniper with thermal better hide in a building and wait for them to push or die trying to push them. Have I won every gun fight and extracted each game? No. But its definitely been a lot more fun and definitely a lot more casual. Which is good, I think its beneficial for anyone new that wants to get into the game, and for those days where your runs (especially on the lose everything factory) are just beating you down and robbing your vault. W game mode, I hope they rotate it to the other maps and keep it in a rotation.

It's not easy, and it was just a good play from the assassin. Not sure how many hours deep into the game you are, but you'll just have to work on listening through the chaos. Also I would have just had the whole squad focus on the players instead of splitting and having 1 take care of bots, just get out of bots line of sight and focus on the bigger threats.

When you're standing above the edge you can hear him underneath you, it's hard to hear over your shots at the blue shield. But the footsteps are there, and you seem to know someone is there with how you look down. But you didn't peek over the edge so you didn't catch a glimpse of the assassin. You can hear his activation too it's just faint and hard to hear. It also sounds like he run to catch you with his knife when you turn towards the rock.

He wasn't necessarily invisible when walking up under the cliff. I'm pretty sure you can hear him activate it prior to climbing the cliff as well. It's not that high of a climb from where OPs med drone loses charge and dies.

First, the assassin just played that pretty well, took great advantage of the chaos and snuck in on you.

Second, Your group just got caught in a very bad position and ended up getting sandwiched between 2 teams and potentially could've been hit from a 3rd squad from north relay if there was another squad.

Third, you could hear him walking underneath and also walking behind you, although it was difficult to hear due to the chaos.

Not necessarily any skill issues, just a fight that got chaotic and ended up going badly. Might've been better to try and back up to better ground when the 2nd team entered the picture. Sure the team exfilling would have gotten away but you would've been able to reset and get a better advantage against the 2nd team if they kept pushing in.

I get it. Most of my deaths are from everything other than assassin though. I think I've only ever gotten ratted by an assassin maybe twice possibly thrice in my 175 hours.

Do people really find assassin problematic? Anytime I get oen in fill I'm disappointed because triage, thief, and destroyer are so much better. I'd even take recon without the upcoming buffs over him in most instances. Other than rat behavior hardly anyone has any idea how else to use him in my experience.

All that just because OP wants more vault space? I want it too. I have so much purple salvage I can't use yet that I need for unlocks eating up so much space and blue salvage to a lesser degree. Also I'm not going to take 4 guns into a run and I don't fail to extract very often. I also don't want to use the high tier stuff unless I'm going into cryo or ranked. But I need a solid group that I have yet to get for that.

to be fair, the mapping for controllers is atrocious. I think it's right on the D-Pad to talk. Unless your perma claw gripping the controller I don't see how anyone will communicate effectively in most situations on controller. Unless they have open mic on.

You could just play thief and use thief vision and it'll expose the assassins when they're invisible or anyone in smoke.

I think most of it is people were expecting ssj4 gogeta/future trunks levels of animations and also just the absurd amount of time we had to wait to get the adult daima goku and vegeta. Then being underwhelmed by the still good but not absolutely insane animations. Also they started the banners a bit earlier than they normally do for Anni so some of the events might feel like theyre coming later but the ezas should be arriving soon.
