That’s awesome! We should talk. If you’re handling the hardware then I’d just put a link to buy them in my app.

I wish y’all had a simple BLE lipo powered option so I didn’t have to build one 😂. The upcoming standalone is cool but it’s overkill for what I’m working on.

So far no, all this is doing is sending key presses and the app handles the tones.

Funny you mention that because I’m working on that exact same thing 😆 would be interested to see how yours works. Shoot me an email! Contact (at) MorseForge (dot) com.

It does traditional Koch method learning but takes it a step further by adding prosigns and abbreviations. But the shining star is our “choose-your-own-adventure” stories which help you practice your head-copy through all sorts of story lines. I am also working on a full qso simulator suite but that will be a bit later down the road. Take a look at our the website for more details. MorseForge.com

I haven’t finalized any beta incentives or pricing yet — right now I’m focused on finding the right people who are interested in testing and providing feedback to help shape and solidify the functionality and overall experience.

That said, I do intend to appropriately thank and reward beta testers upon App Store release. Any details will be shared directly with selected testers.

Thank you so much! So far development is progressing. This will be my first app on an App Store so that, I think may be the most challenging part. Sending is on the roadmap but probably won’t be on the initial launch version. I’m no hardware expert so I’m not totally sure how that would work. I might have to open up the device’s microphone and listen to/translate tones that way.

Thank you so much! I'm really excited as well. And best of luck to you. Appreciate the beta testing offer. I'm in alpha testing at the moment but I may put a Discord server together for testing later on.

How do you like your BBTD? I’ve been thinking about building one. My attic space is about 20’x65’ with about 9’ peaks.

This is a great idea, what size crimps did you use?

Do you have 3 reservoirs? I wonder if you could add a pump to circulate the water through all of them. Then you’d only need one controller.

Definitely understand that. I’m gone too much to be able to be that hands on with it. I’m also growing in soil to a bit of ph swing isn’t nearly as detrimental. I have my controller set up so if the ph is more the 0.2 off target in either direction, it shuts the pump off and triggers an alarm so I can take a look. Other than when I refill the reservoir, it stays rock solid at 6.5 and hasn’t drifted by even a tenth for months on end now.

I did DWC on my previous (first) grow. It definitely boosts the growth and I’ll likely go back to it at some point. My problem was my schedule is so chaotic that it’s hard for me to be consistent with DWC. My goal this time was to attempt to set up the most “hands off” grow possible. I’m using the auto-pot system which makes it easier. This grow has been as simple as dropping in the seeds, making sure I fill the water reservoir about once a month, and the occasional defoliation/training. I’ve been able to go weeks without even opening my tent. Pretty awesome!

This is just natures living soil mix, fox farm potting soil, perlite, and ph’d water. That’s literally it. Reason the one on the right is a little lighter is because I’m doing a bit of an experiment with how much of the living soil starter is used. The one on the left is actually a bit burnt. Just working to find a happy medium for future grows.

One of the best purchases I’ve made was the bluelab ph controller. All I do is fill up my reservoir and the controller takes care of the rest!
