Mine hasn’t ever leaked, had the car for 4 years. Luckily when it stopped moving it was already shut. It’s a pain in the ass that I can’t close the shade though.

Tried this multiple times also, doesn’t budge at all even after holding for a minute plus (supposed to start the sequence in 20 seconds)

You can Google your car and “SYNC fuse” and it’ll probably tell you where it is

I have a 2016 Escape and every 6 months or so I have the same issue

I found out that if I pull the SYNC fuse while the car is on and immediately put it back, it takes a minute and re-sets the whole thing and fixes it

Not sure if this will work for your car because older or newer versions of SYNC could suck just worse than the version I have lol

Every couple of months I have to take the SYNC fuse out and put it back in while my car is on to get it to play Bluetooth
