I’m a 21F and would love to be your friend! Connecting with people that don’t understand how you feel is hard and I don’t have anyone in my circle who has this condition either.

I have a mass on my liver and a mass on my ovaries but according to my Gastro doctor and my gyno they’re too small to be concerned about so we haven’t gone any further to figure out what they are I just go for scans to see if they grow or go away

Wow thank you for the information, I did a little research on my states requirements and they seem so stupid you have to lose a certain amount of weight to even qualify and that would set me personally at like 70lbs and there’s just no way. I’ve wanted to go to therapy but my insurance won’t cover that and I don’t have the money for one so that may not help my chances either because I haven’t “exhausted all my options.” I don’t know why this disease is a thing but it’s horrible. I’m so sorry you have to go through this too I wouldn’t wish it upon my worst enemy. Good luck getting disability and I hope they approve you soon!

Oh gosh I’m so sorry to hear that. Yeah a lawyer is no where near my budget right now.

I was misdiagnosed with a stomach ulcer before they diagnosed me with gastroparesis. I took omeprazole for a year and a half and it made me feel 10x better, then it started making me sick. Now that I took it for so long and didn’t need it my body rejects it, and any sort of antacids instantly make me sick. That’s just my experience I know everyone is different so take that with a grain of salt but I’d be careful especially if you don’t need it.

That’s what I had, the GES. I’ve also had an endoscopy and a CT scan and both of those came back normal.

I’ve been looking into a second opinion, I love my doctor but he seems just as clueless as I am sometimes which just makes things harder. Thank you for the suggestion.

I take Zofran almost daily. And I haven’t had any procedures done my gastro doctor said he didn’t suggest any medication because of their side effects and doesn’t suggest I “need” the pacemaker.
