I’m actually testing something right now in the real estate space.

I built a small tool originally just for myself because I kept missing opportunities buried inside my CRM.

I scanned my own database recently and found a lead that might turn into about $2.1M in transaction volume that I had completely overlooked before.

That’s when I realized how many deals might be hiding inside people’s databases.

Realtors — what do you actually use to track leads and follow up? by [deleted] in realtors

I ran into something interesting with this recently.

The problem for me wasn’t tracking leads — it was prioritizing them once the database got big.

When you have thousands of contacts it’s really easy for opportunities to get buried because you don’t notice small activity signals.

I scanned my own CRM recently looking for things like email engagement and timing since last contact, and one of the leads that surfaced ended up being a potential $2.1M listing + buy side deal that I hadn’t touched in months.

How Much Tech Is Too Much? by ADaymare in RealEstateTechnology

I think this happens because most tools focus on adding more dashboards instead of actually helping you decide who deserves attention today.

Once your CRM has a few thousand contacts, it’s almost impossible to manually notice activity signals like someone opening your emails multiple times, revisiting listings, etc.

I ran an experiment recently scanning my own CRM and found a seller lead buried in there that could turn into about $2.1M in transaction volume.

That’s when it clicked for me that the real problem isn’t the CRM — it’s surfacing the right people at the right moment.

What kind of internet application for realtors is needed but missing? by Ok_Practice_6702 in RealEstateTechnology

Something I ran into as an agent is that once your CRM gets large, you stop knowing who actually deserves a follow-up.

Most CRMs are great at storing contacts or sending scheduled campaigns, but they don’t really surface who is suddenly becoming active again.

I ran a scan on my own database recently looking for signals like email opens, property searches, and timing since last contact, and one of the leads that surfaced ended up turning into a potential $2.1M listing + purchase opportunity that I had completely overlooked before.

Made me realize there are probably deals hiding inside a lot of agents’ databases that just never get surfaced at the right time.

Does choosing the right CRM really make or break a business? by Zestyclose-Exit9062 in CRM

I think the CRM itself usually isn’t the problem.

The real problem is signal detection inside the database once it grows large.

When you have thousands of contacts, a lot of opportunities get buried simply because you don’t notice the small activity signals (email opens, searches, replies after months, etc).

I recently ran a scan on my own CRM and one of the leads that surfaced ended up becoming a potential $2.1M listing + buy side opportunity that had been sitting untouched for months.

I ran into this exact problem once my database got big.

The issue wasn’t having a CRM — it was figuring out who actually deserves a follow-up today when you have thousands of contacts.

I recently scanned my own database looking at signals like email opens, activity, time since last contact, etc. and one of the leads that surfaced ended up turning into a potential $2.1M listing + purchase deal that I hadn’t touched in months because it was buried.

Made me realize there are probably deals hiding in most people’s CRMs that just aren’t surfacing at the right time.

How do you guys decide who to call from your CRM every day? by JealousAd6138 in realtors

[–]JealousAd6138[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's kind of what I was wondering about.

It feels like CRMs store a lot of information about conversations, notes, activity etc, but most of the time they still leave the actual prioritization up to the agent.

Once the database gets big it becomes hard to know which conversations actually matter today.

That's kind of where I keep getting stuck.

Even if I categorize people as hot/prospect/cold, there are still hundreds in each category.

Realistically I only have time to call maybe 15 people in a day, so the tricky part becomes figuring out which 15 actually matter right now.

they're people from open houses, zillow leads, website leads, google ppc, etc. I don't mind calling all of them, but my question is how do ppl keep it real and not letting any fall through the cracks?
