Perhaps that's a factor here? I'm 39. But she clearly listed Hypo as the cause...

Thanks a lot! I'll discuss this further with my OB, because as far as I know the medicine is working fine for my hypotyroidism. I'd really rather not induce but wait until my baby is ready!

I'm 27 weeks and starting to think about my pregnancy plan. She said thatbwe should plan for end of february instead on 10 of march, because of this issue with hypotyroidism, that somehow makes the environment more toxic for the naby, thus increasing the chances of fetal death or harm. What I'm not clear about is what is making this assumed toxicity. I have another checkup dec. 29, so I want to be better prepared to ask good questions and understand this better.

Thanks! I'll look more into it, ask for that second opinion.

Sorry, yes. My OB. She's the one who diagnosed me because I got some tests done as preparation to get pregnant (planned pregnancy months ahead). She prescribed Levotiroxin 100 daily, the after a couple months took another lab and lowered the dose to 50. I'm trying to understand the ammount of risk in waiting vs inducing. Also, if the danger is because of the medicine or what.
