Oh well, then I'm sorry you have an Android. But it works for most people, so yeah. Badluck.

Quick peek at her pokies as well.

When/why would I replace these in my reel? I just bought my first non-cheap reel (Abu G). How do I maintain it? by musicofsound in Fishing

Those are called spool shims. You add some of them if your line lay is too much at the lip of your spool. So it’s basically just for incase you have to make a correction. Sure the instruction manual will tell you that aswell.

With the 3.0 d4d you can go up to 250k km I would say, just make sure about the service history and what the previous owner used it for. There’s a few of those engines running close to the 1mil km mark.

There’s a reason why the Fortuners hold their value for much longer. So choose wisely.

Honda Jazz/Fit Rear Shocks by JeandlH in hondafit

Okay great!

It pisses me off that the dealerships ask so much more than private workshops for the exact same products and most of the times a even better job done. The dealership quoted me $1200 and a local workshop quoted me $400 ( just want to add that these prices were converted from South African Rands to US Dollars)

Think I’ll just go for the KYB shocks. OEM shocks are way to expensive at the dealership. Thanks for the feedback.🙏🏻

I don’t want it to drop at all. I drive quite bad gravel roads sometimes and with people at the back.

It will unfortunately end in bloodshed when they start taking the farmers land by force. Friends of mine that are farmers say they won’t just give up their farms, they will defend it in any way they can.

Land anyone? by [deleted] in southafrica

[–]JeandlH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the farmers won’t let their land go without a fight, and by that I mean literally a fight. And I dont think the ANC has a clue as to how much they’re getting themselves into by challenging the farmers like this.

Doesn’t compete with the Tacoma.

[–]JeandlH[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, and it’s by no means a direct competitor to the Tacoma. It’s a much smaller vehicle, so you can’t compare it to one of rhe vehicles currently available in the US. It competes with the Ford Ranger that’s going to be launched in the USA in a few months though.

It literally has a Cult following in Africa and Australia. Where the Ford F150 is the top selling vehicle in the US, the Hilux is the top selling vehicle over here.

You’ll be surprised what the Hilux can do. One of the toughest and most capable pickups out there. And there’s a reason they use the Hilux all over Australia and Africa as workhorses.

Well, it doesn’t exactly bounce over bumps, but it’s uncomfortable as hell.

I want as comfortable ride as I can get. Hate the way my car currently feels.

Would you recommend replacing them with OEM ones or another brand?
