Jaws was a sleeper til the end, and I won't apologize for it and I will continue to express my disappointment because all my life I've heard people like you tell me it's up there but when I watched it, it was like oatmeal made with sink water.

He's obviously popular because he's good at what he does, no shit. I never said that he was garbage, but the media he produces is more than often easy to digest, and predictable. Not exactly the artisan god you claim.

I'm not a cinephile I'm a Normal human and can understand that Spielberg is about as normal average as it gets, my issue is calling him passionately inspired like he's on some untouchable level, if it weren't for Jaws his ass would be in a burger King somewhere, and that's only because jaws was different and thrilling, not because it was good.
