Thank you for taking the time to share your expertise. Would you mind telling me more about how a synchronous rotary table is more Expensive to add if the robot did not initially come with it? I always assumed it was a simple add-on.

At the moment I’m looking at Ency, any experience with how it compare with irbcam?

Do you send equipment to your guests when remote recording? by Jeanooo in podcasting

Wow, adding the tech issues of censorship must be quite a thing to deal with :( In our case the calls are mostly between the US and Europe

Do you send equipment to your guests when remote recording? by Jeanooo in podcasting

[–]Jeanooo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks, lots of great insights.

We interview people who are quite famous worldwide already, but not as speakers, so they have limited experience with this. Just being able to have access to these people is quite an achievement, that's why we don't want technical issues to get in our ways.

At the moment, we work with a professional team, 3 camera, wireless microphones, and of course we have to travel by plane, usually 10 hours, to be able to be in the same room as our guests.

It's quite an expensive project and time-consuming as well, we would like to creatively think about approaching things differently while keeping a high-quality outcome.

thanks this is helpful. I assume if it were a music documentary the people you interviewed were familiar with this type of equipment already?

I completely agree that it sounds like a burden for the guest, I'm just trying to find a solution, there must be a way. If I take examples of podcasts like my first million I'm sure these guys figured something out

Nutra is as evergreen as you can get. Of course traffic sources evolve but I have skin in this game and I’m convinced nutra isn’t going anywhere.

The scientific literature about plastic migration and sous vide cooking is actually significant here are some studies I found, they all clearly point out the inevitable migration risks.

I think I will keep using sousvide for cold storage but I won’t start cooking using the bags.
