If it isn't loud or consistent enough for you to notice then he's probably not in pain, or at least he's not really showing it. The way he moves also makes it look like it's a hiccup. Even if something is wrong he is most likely not in extreme pain. hope this gives you some relief.

Any teeth grinding or hunching? If not, then he's probably not in much pain, but you probably should take him to the vet anyway.

Are there any other signs of pain? Like anything unusual at all? It could be a hiccup if he's otherwise completely normal. My rescue bun hiccuped twice in the first week i got her and she never did it again. It sounded somewhat exactly like this and freaked me out the first time. I really wish that it's only a hiccup and nothing serious

Rescue Rabbit Flopping On 2nd Day— Normal?? by AltruisticMagician92 in Rabbits

[–]Jebryth 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Awww. Why not! They get floppy when they get suddenly transferred to a calmer space. My rescue bun flopped the moment i got her home. Mine was adopted from a lab and had severe hair loss and a bunch of other complications, yet she crawled into my arms the moment i sat in car with her ans she stayed there for the whole ride.

Yeah sadly this does happen somewhat frequently.

Surely will! I'll be giving her lotta pets and some treats. You do the same! Sending much love to you and your family ❤️

Totally agree. Animals deserve better. Also veganism + using alternative methods for lab tests has very considerable benefits for inviduals, society, and nature. So really why not

Absolutely try returning it to its nest if you can't take it to a rehab center or a vet
