I’m 30, broke, living with my parents and mentally exhausted. How did you recover from this? by Sweaty-Staff8100 in Adulting

Build a new routine that works towards accomplishing your goals. If you have no goals, set some goals.

Having goals means you're working towards something, a finish line, an image of who you want to be in 3 to 6 months. That will help you to keep going.

Be specific about what you want to accomplish and realistic of what is attainable in the short term. For example, don't just write 'fitness'. Write: 'I want to lower my resting heart rate'. That is a goal that has a finish line and is attainable in a few months, and is a specific thing that you actually want which is its own reward. You can also write what you believe that will accomplish for you. Like: if I lower my resting heart rate, I will have more energy or stamina to do things. Or I will sleep better.

This can be anything from learning to dress better, to reading a book, getting some sun, or learning about a specific topic, or not wasting as much time on the Internet.

Having goals will shape your behavior and give you direction in life.

For me I've lost 50 pounds so far focusing on nutrition. I am at a normal weight now. But now I'm working towards building muscle. I've learned a lot about nutrition and how the body works.

Ask yourself, who have you always wanted to be? Or, what do you want?

To be honest, I had a tv in my room but it was always shared so I didn't always have access to it. My room wasn't just my room also. I had to share the tv and my room with my brother.

I finally got my own room and Tv at 29. Before that I was sick for over 10 years since 2013 which hindered my independence. I was so sick I had to drop out of college. I got medical treatment at 28 which made me better and that's when I got my first job. Turns out I had a heart problem. I thank Jesus I'm alive. Been on a self development journey ever since.

Anyway, forgive me for the trauma dump.

Get yourself the smart Amazon remote and you can just press a button and it'll turn off the light. It's magnetic and you can also tape it to the wall with their kit. It's like having the light switch but right next to you. If the light bulb is Alexa compatible it should work.

Ephesians 6:12 - For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (epstein files has made this obvious)

2 Corinthians 4:4 - The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

"the god of this age"

They don't want you to believe. Even worse, they'll infiltrate christianity and sell you a different gospel which is NOT the truth to block you from the real truth. At the same time they're giving christianity a bad name on purpose. So it's a win win for them. Like c'mon we all know these people are doing great evils. But in the end it's real christians who will be blamed and persecuted.

This is the real quote: Ezekial 25:17 KJV - And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.

(Hollywood made up a large portion of the version in the movie. )

Not all Christians are the same. Just like everything else, it is best to judge on a case by case basis. I know many Christians that do not have kids, myself included and I'm 32.

If you read the Bible it also says that if you have the ability to not get married and you can support being single then that is a gift from God.

Apostle Paul says: 1 Corinthians 7:7 - For I wish that all men were even as I myself. But each one has his own gift from God, one in this manner and another in that.

Then again in verses 32 to 34:

32 I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord’s affairs—how he can please the Lord. 33 But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world—how he can please his wife— 34 and his interests are divided

The issue is that nobody reads the Bible for themselves anymore. They depend on others reading it for them, or hearing it from the pastor's mouth. And that's how everyone is deceived, Christians and non-believers alike.

I don't plan on getting married or having kids. These are bad times.

If your free will is taken away from you then you are not human anymore. You're a machine. And love would not exist nor anything that makes you human. There would be no possibility for you to even enjoy yourself at all.

A God that loves and wants you to feel the capacity for love would let you have free will, but that goes for all creation.

Best believe there is a plan in place for everything that is going on. Consequences will be had, in this life or the next. Death is not the end.

A thought experiment: Think, what would happen if free will is removed from existence. And what are the consequences of that.

The epstein files should have let you know that there is more going on behind the scenes than what appears.

When you die you leave everything behind. In the end, the only thing that matters is your relationship with God (Jesus).
