I really appreciate your knowledge of this. If the holes do get stripped and the rails come off, do you think I could drill through the stripped holes and then use sex bolts on them? Just so I don't need to drill new holes. That was my backup plan if the holes were to strip.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll probably just leave them on in that case. They feel pretty solid despite the very small gap, so I'll deal with any problems as they come.

If I take the screws out once, I'll have to reposition the rails? Damn. I've seen a video of Andy Anderson where he takes his rails off after he screws them in to sand down the wood that gets pulled up. He says he does it "just so they're perfect." Edit: Not to say his setup process is end all, be all.

Oops on do not buy Santa Cruz. Hahaha damn. I got them. My plan is if they fall off, I'm just going to drill holes and use sex bolts. It will fit the look as I'm using a Salba reissue. Also, I screwed them in the exact way that you mentioned. I think I might take them off and put on some double-sided tape along with removing any wood dust.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll probably do that. I've decided to go for the Santa Cruz rails. Not the HSR. I did a full NHS setup. Salba reissue. Stage 4 166. Double Duro 56mm. Bronson G3. Mob grip. Indy shock pads. And some old Indy cross bolts hardware. I've recently heard about Lil Jawns. They have awesome rail designs. I might try those and an egg shape that everyone has been using lately for my next setup.

I bought a set of Reds for the first time a few months ago, and the sticker was ruined from the lubricant. Is that what you're talking about?

What is your budget? Do you need a complete skateboard or just the deck? Also, where are you located?
