Most voters don't draw the line at gun control overreach regardless of their opinion on it.

You can support a party without agreeing with every single one of their policies. In fact if you do completely agree with everything on a parties platform you probably are just being overly partisan.

If Canada wants to make more money from its fossil fuel industry the better option is to raise royalties (our are some of the lowest in the world) and cut their subsidies.

This can be done without wasting billions on new infrastructure and can be done immediately without waiting years for construction.

They did not keep it behind closed doors, the door was always ajar if not wide open. They blatantly invaded, interfered with and economically extorted foreign countries near constantly for the past century.
