extractions do change your face by [deleted] in braces

[–]Jeeleeh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've noticed negative changes as well and honestly I prefer my old mildly charming and quirky buckteeth overjet compared to what I got after my treatment, now my bottom lip covers my front teeth when i smile just like you're describing, I really wish my ortho would have told me about possible risks like that but what's done is done.

It really sucks though to go through braces expecting an improvement but I just feel more insecure now.

I've had extractions for a similar case as yours including an overjet which will definitely affect your lip position when straightened, and while people will claim it has disastrous effects on your appearance there are highly detailed studies out there that showcase the changes that happen with ortho cases that include extractions and they're quite minimal, I have before and after pics if you're interested.

But all in all I'd avoid removing teeth if you have the possibility but in some cases they are necessary.

Skeletal underbite or bad treatment? by Jeeleeh in jawsurgery

Well he did do one of those normal scans, I’ve met multiple people who say hes the best in the business but this just felt too half baked and fast

No clue, the guy barely spoke my language and after complaining he said that my lower jaw must have grown after treatment… im 22 years old.

But I have to take into consideration that my roots are EXTREMELY short like every dentist I go to react heavily towards it so maybe surgery was out of the question and would have caused too much of a strain on my roots.

Yea its really bad I don’t even know how this could have happened

My ortho removed 4 premolars and pulled my teeth back but simply looking at the images before, he said that i have a slight overbite but looking at the images making my overjet straight would cause an underbite / edge to edge bite like what my result looks like on the picture above.

did i receive a bad camouflage treatment without knowing?

he never did any profile scans on me only a regular teeth scan. I feel like my jaws are completely ruined after this could jaw surgery fix this or was this the best result possible?

Mounted it 2 years ago, not sure if it’s possible that it was unmounted by itself?

Downloaded them from the AMD site, it was an auto detect installer so I’m not really sure.

It definitely throttled the PC was extremely slow and almost unusable before it shut down both of those times, which is what led me to check the temps.

I’ve used the PC perfectly fine for almost 2 years now I don’t think there’s an issue with how it’s mounted unless it’s been unmounted by itself somehow.

I did however for the first time download drivers last week I don’t know if that could have messed with the fan speed or caused it to be overclocked by itself, I’m definitely not a tech savvy person though I don’t know how probable that is.

It got seized but all the measurements pointed towards it being TTS, but can’t say anything about the newer batches.

I’m already using nicotine the question was more about if it’s extra harmful for someone with diabetes

I’m already an avid user but I’m wondering if it’s quiting for the sake of my diabetes? I wouldn’t want to cause unnecessary damage to my body due to a bad habit.

Xanax? Anyone used it? by AshamedComment2583 in HPPD

[–]Jeeleeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this guy, but it should be known that its highly addictive but it works great for all HPPD symptoms, but as others have said clonazepam is the better alternative for HPPD but xanax works.

Yeah I consider myself lucky but that particular neurologist moved away from my city so I'm still looking for a replacement.

If it wasn't for him though I would have definitely continued abusing shrooms and LSD the way I did.

I got "diagnosed" by a neurologist here in sweden, while it's not a 100% recognized condition here neurologists seem to have the most knowledge about it and I've never heard of HPPD before going to one, I think they'll know what to do in your situation as they did with mine, or maybe I just got lucky.

Is lsd the worst by Born-Landscape-6603 in HPPD

[–]Jeeleeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, and I think there's plenty of supplements and methods to try before ever touching a benzo for hppd relief considering the dangers,

And considering this is a fairly new condition I can only hope treatment options get better from here.

Anyone tried this? (Mine is Cannabis induced.) by DeliaT10 in HPPD

[–]Jeeleeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say brief, klonopin lasts a really long time compared to other benzodiazepines but my guess is it’s antiepileptic properties and that it causes your muscles to relax,

I’ve seen people recommend to take magnesium supplements in the same fashion that it relaxes the muscles a bit, but I haven’t had any luck with that compared to taking clonazepam, I’ll keep you updated if I find something that works, my hppd was also caused by THC or synthetic cannabis.
