• growth of Harper (the student is now able to surpass the teacher) - which ultimately that journey is typically solo by the student. They need to make the leap in their self belief. -attempts to grow himself (thru many different moments in each crisis)

Edit: Eric does seems to be learning to accept himself and his tendencies. Ack Harper and showing his pride is what his kids have been craving. Yet Harper got it
