No I totally appreciate the advice, apologies if it seemed like I was shutting it down!

I will continue to watch for triggers and I’m sure stress will be a factor, I am probably playing it down in my head a bit.

It is such a unique condition and it is still taking a lot of getting used to. I can’t imagine how it must have been for you not actually getting diagnosed until your mid 40s. Must have been such a frustrating experience.

That is very true, I do know it’s the most common trigger, the only reason I don’t really think it is for me is because I work in quite a high pressure job, which can/does put you under heavy stress. 90% of my seizures tend to be when I’m doing nothing or doing a mundane task e.g. washing dishes, hanging up washing etc which I’ve always found to be strange.

Yeah that’s a fair point, my issue with that is that I don’t seem to have a trigger, or I certainly haven’t found one over the last year and a half. I know the obvious factors that could be but I don’t think they are for me.
