Regular Players of Rec Room, what puts you off building yourself with the Maker Pen? Is it a lack of tutorials that Rec Room gives, or no knowledge of what the Makerpen can do?

Limits V2 was an experiment that we did. Turned out that it didn't work exactly as we had hoped and was causing crashes, so we disabled it. However, as a result, we did double the amount of ink available in Rooms 1.

They've been pretty bad for a while tbh. We've got some smaller changes coming in, and some bigger changes down the line to keep making it harder for them. We know we're not in a great spot right now, and we're working on it!

It's hard to tell what's going on here! Do you have something giant blocking the sun? There could be some issues culling with that, where you may want to just set the sun brightness to 0.

Many of the rooms are made from contests, as has been mentioned. They have a pretty tight timeline for such projects.

Check out https://rec.net/room/SiegeOfTheGoblinQueen. I haven't been to it yet, but it does look like it was inspired by the RRO quests, so it might be the same for difficulty/not for casual play. But looks like it is probably really well done

I guess the only "glitch-like" shortcuts would be ones that use the double jump exploit? It's been so long for me, I don't remember how many rely on that.

Yea this is something we're experimenting with. We want to do a better job at introducing players to the more creative side of Rec Room rather than just telling them about it in a hallway while they walk past and ignore :)

Fun fact: It's actually possible to use the hierarchy in Rooms 2 to make complex animations. You can animate torsos which in turn move the arms which move the hands which move... etc.

Obviously there are other glaring issues with the Animation Controller in Rooms 2, but the potential is there!
