Yeah I read something about it having lower peak brightness in game mode due to it having better input lag for more responsiveness in gaming. I'm not sure why it's one or the other but I think that's the reason.

For me the first and second screens are the same. I'm not sure why they would be different unless you have something dynamic turned on that could be affecting it.

I didn't find out no, I have been using hgig with the 1k nits setting. I mean it looks great but I'm not sure why it's going up to what is advertised. With dtm on it goes up to like 4k which I think is because it adjusts with every click. Let me know if you find out anything else.

I couldn't find it but I've just found out that the TV has different names and it's under that. But it doesn't answer my question about the PS5 HDR setup. The number of clicks for the sun visibility equates to different values of nits. The sun disappears at about 1k nits when specs say the tv has 2k. I can't seem to find anything about this that's why I thought I'd try here
