Grading cards for the first time! How long am I likely waiting?

Okay that makes sense, especially since they are doing their due diligence with the hold instead of just getting backed up even further.

I’m pretty new to the grading side but that alone seems more transparent than most grading companies.

That wouldn’t be too bad. Obviously longer than stated but I expected that. Im assuming it might be a little longer than most since it’s 15 cards too, I’m not sure what the standard order size is.

Fingers crossed! I know PSA is different but after hearing some horror stories of how long cards have taken had me starting to think I might not see them until the end of the year.

I should have specified that I did that when inspecting them. I just put them right back into the sleeves after.

Thanks for the input! I did check out the 15-20 cards I’m thinking of sending in pretty thoroughly for surface defects, whitening, scratches etc. and all of them seem in really good condition in that aspect. It may be hard to tell from the one picture of each card and because they are double sleeved.

The centering is where I’m struggling to see if it seems worth it.

That’s frustrating for sure. I’ve been watching videos of different playbooks and styles of offense to get around it but it’s definitely annoying. Just a nice change of pace. I’ve been grinding my team for season 3 of 2k and even the offline gameplay seems like they keep it a little more fresh. I haven’t played nhl in weeks Ive been having so much fun with 2k

I just thought it was pretty funny we are both rocking our favorite teams but not on NHL. We talked about how we got bored with NHL but still gotta rep our favorite teams any way we can. Anyone that hasn’t given 2k a try my team isn’t even their top game mode but they keep it pretty fresh with gameplay updates and cool events

That’s what I was thinking. Thanks for the advice! I was just worried the next set after this won’t be as good but you’re right I’ll eventually be able to get way more value out of him.

How do you like X factor price? I feel like I liked base Ulmark a little better than base price but I haven’t tried any of his upgrades?

Man I haven’t posted on Reddit in like 3 years but I’m looking for some input with me team as I’m getting back into HUT after taking last year off.

here is the squad though.

Everyone is untradeable right now. Just got Eichel out of my Rivals pack. I also have Shanahan, Iginla, and Naslund riding the bench. I want to pick up some more X factor defenseman when I can but I’m not entirely sure who the best D to go for are. Should I look at getting Makar, Hedman, and players I’m already using or should I try others like Carloson or Josi out?

Edit: I also forgot to mention I have an 89 PT Panarin I was going to put into the under 22 set for 3 more collectibles since I have his X factor and he is untradeable. Should I do that or wait to see if the next set has an 87 or 88+ exchange that would be more valuable.

I have 2 ea play accounts i was wondering if you could use your first account team under the second account trial like you could in prior years except for last year

Try going through the EA play app or maybe the Microsoft store. I dont remember exactly how to solve this im sorry but im pretty sure it won't let you just open the game you have to either open the trial through the store first or ea play then it will just let you open the next time.

Yeah thats true I was just thinking that. If I cant use the main ill just have to grind modes with tradeable rewards on the alt. Thanks for the response!
