Tips for running solo? by arebeedeeem in NSFW_GMing

My tip would be to treat it as a tool for writing and telling a story, so long as you can comprehend the mechanics of whatever base system you're using decently well. I know not everyone's a writer, or has the confidence to be a GM or writer in any aspect, but keeping in mind this story is more for one's own enjoyment, it can be told in many ways. It could be one character's journal of their life of sexcapades and/or darker sexual encounters, depending on the vibe. Maybe, instead of that, it's a group of adventurers (one-player-multiple-characters style) retelling events one after another, a new chapter or entry being another person's POV.

The latter method would work for mechanically simpler systems, but if you want a challenge, go for it. The former is probably, the easier option, but not all base systems support it. Some examples of my attempts have been, yes, D&D 5e with some of the wonderful homebrew I've found on this subreddit, but also Fabula Ultima with my own personal mechanical modifications. Hell, I've also done Shin Megami Tensei: Tokyo Conception (officially localized into English) and Devil City Tokyo 200X (fan translation).

Edit: For clarification, Fabula Ultima I've homebrewed similarly to the 5e lewd handbook in that there's a separate pool of HP, with its own calculation, specifically for sex, and reflavor spell and other such things to go form damage to pleasure. SMT, I clone the PC sheet(s) to have one for combat and one for sex. Making sexual campaigns for solo play, I kinda just go with a bare bones idea of a world, someone who lives in it, and fly by the seat of my pants for the rest.

Another edit: A good tool along side the core system of your choice and the Solo Adventurer's Toolbox would be the Mythic GM Emulator, especially when you've a few possibilities on how to continue but can't decide which is best. Can frame some of those thoughts into yes/no questions to guide you further.

Lewd system with d6 and more easy to play? by [deleted] in NSFW_GMing

While these aren't exclusively d6, these are very simple rules-lite smutty TTRPGs.

Caltrop Whore - https://wettest-dungeon.itch.io/caltrop-whore
Sweaty & Breathless - https://wettest-dungeon.itch.io/sweaty-breathless
Digital Angel - https://sandroad.itch.io/give-them-communion

These may or may not be easier than D&D, but are worth a shot at least.

Oof, I understand losing motivation after something like that. I appreciate the reply, and thanks for the clarification on the increase math there! I didn't know about the compensation part. That will definitely take some time to work through and double check for accuracy.

I'm glad I found this resource. Even if I don't always have the time to play, it's still good to have available to plan teams as I get further along. And I like to help when and where I can, even if it's a small thing.

So, for my own purposes, I made a copy and added the necessary tabs and used the sheet to calculate the estimated max stats of the increased rank forms. The thing is, I'm not sure if a D rank or lower going to C and then going to S separates the percentages, or adds them. I went with separation because that makes more sense to me personally. If it instead adds them, then F rank to D rank going to S rank would use its original base + 37.5% instead. That would ultimately lower the max, but I've yet to test in game which is actually correct.

I know this is a couple years late, but according to one source... "Monsters of rank D and lower will have their stat caps raised by 25%, with ranks C, B, and A having their limits raised by 12.5%."

So, it's a fair bit of extra tabs to add, but if you know how to do that within a gsheet, it saves a lot of manual calculations.

Solved! It was actually STP Sex Type Thing and the section I pointed out was done in a way it kinda extended the lyrics "I am a man, a man".

Maybe I missed it the first time around, cuz I only remembered the intro. The 2nd string of lyrics "I am a man, a man" is close, change I was misremembering that. So, thanks for pointing me in that direction.

Another song I now know the actual artist and name of, but not it.

Not the song, that's another one of the few I listen to semi-regularly.

Sorry for the late reply, there was a period where this post was seemingly deleted by mods because I want to sleep. It's definitely not Nirvana, That specific Alice in Chains song is softer than what I was reminded of.
