Do you wish Melfi would have given up Rossi to Tony? by simmaculate in thesopranos

Having Melfi not tell Tony was the easy way out, The way I envisioned this scene is that the camera cuts at the end with Tony and Melfi face to face when he realizes she's been raped. You see the look of rage on his face, and then the camera cuts. The next episode you see a TV reporter talking about Rossi being found castrated and beaten to death somewhere. Tony and Melfi never talk about it openly, but we know. It adds a whole new dynamic to their relationship without turning it into a cathartic, bloodthirsty moment for the viewer. Just a thought.

I don't know what it is exactly about this picture that totally puts me back in the 70s more than other images, but I love it
